STORYLINE

1917

Ljunghäll started as a blacksmith company in south east Sweden by the blacksmith Edwin Ljungkvist and his wife Hilda. The landscape outside the factory was full of heather flower and flat rocks and there for the company become the name Ljunghäll.

1920

The company expanded the production and included now processes sandcasting and chill casting.

1940

Ljunghäll bought the first high pressure die cast machine in 1940 and was one of the pioneers in Sweden for the process.

1980

Ljunghäll worked together with ABB and installed the first robot into the high pressure die cast productioncell.

2003

The company was sold to the private equity company Cap Man.

2007

The high pressure die cast company DROP-PRESS in Czech Republic was acquired and the company is now called Ljunghäll s.r.o.

2014

The company Gnutti Carlo acquired Ljunghäll Group from Cap Man.

2016

Ljunghäll established the plant in China - Wuxi which is located outside Shanghai.

2017

100TH ANNIVERSARY

2019

Ljunghäll establish a plant for SoP 2019 in Canada, Huron Park Ontario (London) which is located nearby the border between Canada and USA.
