Ljunghäll AB was founded in 1917 by blacksmith Edvin Ljungkvist and his wife Hilda. In the beginning it was just a small smithy, doing mostly small ironwork and shoeing horses. A few years later they expanded the production to also include sand- and chill casting, thus laying the foundation of what has now become one of the world’s best and most advanced High Pressure Die Casting company – Ljunghäll Group.

Today, Ljunghäll Group has production in Södra Vi, Sweden, Caslav, Czech Republic and Wuxi, China.

We are now looking for a Key Account Manager - China

We are now looking for a Key Account Manager to the Marketing & Sales department at our Ljunghäll (Wuxi) Die Casting site in China.

Area of responsibility

As KAM you will be responsible for some of our customer accounts, with a revenue of more than hundred MRMB. Your duties include nurturing and profitable development of your customer and product portfolio towards agreed goals. You are responsible for the profitability of your own customer portfolio and report directly to Business Manager. The position includes conducting negotiations, making quotations and calculations. You will have a close collaboration with mainly project- and production department at Ljunghäll (Wuxi), but also with your colleagues throughout the Ljunghäll Group. Travel for the position exists, both inside and outside China.

Knowledge and experience

We are looking for Candidates with Bachelors of Science and Engineering and with at least a few years of experience in similar services, or that you have a long-term working experience for the position. You have worked with production/process technology and/or in the Automotive industry, and therefore have easy understanding of customer demands and requirements.

Good knowledge of Chinese/Mandarin and English is a requirement; i.e. you should be able to make yourself understood and understand both languages in both speech and writing. Qualifications for the position means that we are looking for someone who...

•... has technical knowledge relevant to the role.

•... have experience in HPDC.

•... have track record or history in marketing and sale in Automotive industry.

•... have negotiation skills.

•... have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office.

•... speaks fluently Chinese/Mandarin and English.

Personal characteristics

To succeed in this position requires that you feel confident in your role. You have easy to create and maintain good relations, both internally and externally. You enjoy a lot of contacts and therefore put the dialogue high on the daily agenda. You are curious, analytical, and have easy to understand the connection with profitability and production. You also have no problems with managing your administrative tasks, because you are structured and organized in your way of working.
